NO
PEACE Apart From Righteousness
Great peace have those who love
Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble. (Psalms 119:165
NKJV)
Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors
of peace have joy. (Proverbs 12:20
NKJV)
When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace
with him. (Proverbs 16:7 NKJV)
"There is no peace,"
says the LORD, "for the wicked." (Isaiah 48:22 NKJV)
But the wicked are like the troubled sea, When it cannot rest,
Whose waters cast up mire and dirt. "There is no
peace," Says my God, "for the wicked." (Isaiah
57:20-21 NKJV)
Their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed innocent blood;
Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; Wasting and destruction are
in their paths. The way of peace they have not
known, And there is no justice in their ways; They have
made themselves crooked paths; Whoever takes that way shall not know
peace. (Isaiah 59:7-8 NKJV)
The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold
as a lion. (Proverbs 28:1 NKJV)
Peace and Righteousness
Always Together
I will hear what God the LORD will speak, For He will speak peace
To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly.
Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, That glory may
dwell in our land. Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness
and peace have kissed. (Psalms 85:8-10
NKJV)
Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness
becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.
Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, And righteousness
remain in the fruitful field. The work of righteousness
will be peace, And the effect of righteousness,
quietness and assurance forever. My people will dwell in a peaceful
habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places, Though hail
comes down on the forest, And the city is brought low in humiliation.
Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, Who send out freely the
feet of the ox and the donkey. (Isaiah 32:15-20 NKJV) I form the light and
create darkness, I make peace and
create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these things.' (Isaiah 45:7
NKJV)
Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace
would have been like a river, And your righteousness
like the waves of the sea. (Isaiah 48:18 NKJV)
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which
rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the
heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their
righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD. (Isaiah
54:17 NKJV)
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness
and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17 NKJV)
Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous
man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have
mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. "For My
thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My
ways," says the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than
the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your
thoughts. "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And
do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My
word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But
it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing
for which I sent it. "For you shall go out with joy, And be led out
with peace; The mountains and the
hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the
field shall clap their hands. (Isaiah 55:7-12 NKJV)
Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful;
nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable
fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
(Hebrews 12:11 NKJV)
Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in
peace by those who make peace. (James 3:18 NKJV)
The Covenant of Peace
All your children shall be taught by the LORD, And great shall
be the peace of your children.
(Isaiah 54:13 NKJV)
"Rejoice with Jerusalem, And be glad with her, all you who love
her; Rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn for her; That you may
feed and be satisfied With the consolation of her bosom, That you may
drink deeply and be delighted With the abundance of her glory." For
thus says the LORD: "Behold, I will extend peace
to her like a river, And the glory of the Gentiles like a
flowing stream. Then you shall feed; On her sides shall you be
carried, And be dandled on her knees. As one whom his mother
comforts, So I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted in
Jerusalem." When you see this, your heart shall rejoice, And
your bones shall flourish like grass; The hand of the LORD shall be known
to His servants, And His indignation to His enemies. (Isaiah
66:10-14 NKJV)
"therefore I will save My flock, and they shall no longer be a
prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep. "I will establish one
shepherd over them, and he shall feed them--My servant David. He shall
feed them and be their shepherd. "And I, the LORD, will be their God,
and My servant David a prince among them; I, the LORD, have spoken.
"I will make a covenant of peace
with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will
dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. "I will make
them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause
showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.
"Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth
shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall
know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke
and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them. "And
they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the
land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them
afraid. "I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall
no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the
Gentiles anymore. "Thus they shall know that I, the LORD their God, am
with them, and they, the house of Israel, are My people," says
the Lord GOD.'" "You are My flock, the flock of My pasture; you are
men, and I am your God," says the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel
34:22-31 NKJV)
"Moreover I will make a covenant of peace
with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I
will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in
their midst forevermore. "My tabernacle also shall be with them;
indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people. "The nations
also will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in
their midst forevermore."'" (Ezekiel 37:26-28 NKJV)
The God of Peace
Now the God of peace be with
you all. Amen. (Romans 15:33 NKJV)

Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be
with you. Amen. (Romans 16:20 NKJV)

preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1
Thessalonians 5:23 NKJV)
Now may the God of peace who
brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep,
through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every
good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His
sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.
Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21 NKJV)
Jesus, Our Peace
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government
will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful,
Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince
of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There
will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To
order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time
forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
(Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV)
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised
for our iniquities; The chastisement for our
peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

(Romans 5:1 NKJV)

scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not
alone, because the Father is with Me. "These things I have spoken to
you, that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have
overcome the world." (John 16:32-33 NKJV)
For He Himself is our peace, who
has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of
commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself
one new man from the two, thus making peace,
and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the
cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace
to you who were afar off and to those who were near. (Ephesians 2:14-17
NKJV)

to Himself, by Him, whether things on
earth or things in heaven, having made peace
through the blood of His cross. (Colossians 1:20 NKJV)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace
of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are
noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good
report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything
praiseworthy----meditate on these things. The things which you
learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and
the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:6-9 NKJV)
